Ofsted, May 2012, said that:
“This is an outstanding school which fully lives up to its mission to provide ‘opportunity, inspiration and celebration’ for its pupils and their families.
The drive and commitment of leaders and managers have ensured that high levels of achievement for all pupils have been sustained over time. Pupils’ achievement is outstanding.
Excellent behaviour in and out of lessons, very positive attitudes to learning and their consideration for each other contribute to pupils’ outstanding behaviour.
Outstanding teaching ensures pupils are motivated to learn. The imaginative and stimulating curriculum further enhances pupils’ enjoyment and leads to their high achievement.
The promotion of pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is outstanding.”
From the wonderful school building and surrounding grounds to the happy ethos and welcoming atmosphere, pupils are given the opportunity to explore their talents in a number of ways whether that be academically, on the sports’ field or in our wide variety of performing arts. We are pleased that our strong performing arts are now recognised via the Arts Mark Gold Award.

Wimbledon Chase is a very inclusive school and in September 2008 we opened an Additionally Resourced Provision for pupils with Speech, Language and Communications Needs. We are proud to have children of all abilities at the school and enjoy seeing everyone develop as a member of the school community.
At the moment we are going through an exciting period of change as we are expanding to become a 3 Forms of Entry school. This involves the building of a new wing and some exciting refurbishment to the main building. The works were completed in the summer of 2011. We are delighted that this expansion has enabled us to open our lovely school to even more children.
I hope that this website will give you a flavour of Wimbledon Chase and a desire to come and see us for yourself. We welcome prospective parents to come and look around the school on Thursday mornings from 9:30am.
