School Uniform

All pupils are expected to wear school uniform. Most items can be purchased from local chain stores or school outfitters. The basic school uniform requirements are listed below.

For Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Nursery
No uniform is required but children should wear appropriate clothing.

Boys
Dark grey long or short trousers (not jogging bottoms), pale blue polo shirt, navy-blue sweatshirt with school emblem, black or grey socks and sensible black shoes (not jellies, plimsolls, trainers or boots).

Girls
Navy-blue skirt or pinafore, pale blue polo shirt, navy-blue sweatshirt with school emblem, navy-blue or white thick tights or socks, sensible black shoes (not trainers, sling backs, open-toed sandals, jellies or boots). A school summer dress in navy-blue and white check should be worn in the Summer Term.

For Pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6

Boys
Dark grey long or short trousers, white shirt (not polo shirts), school tie, plain navy V-neck pullover (not sweatshirt) black or grey socks and sensible black shoes.

Girls
Navy-blue knee-length school skirt (either semi-flared or pleated) or knee-length culottes, white shirt (not polo shirt), school tie, plain navy V-neck pullover or cardigan (not sweatshirt), navy or white tights or socks and sensible black low heeled shoes. Shoes with high heels are not permitted.

A school summer dress in navy-blue and white check should be worn in the summer term.

Please note: Girls may wear trousers only in the second half of the Autumn Term and Spring Term. However, these must be standard dark grey school trousers. No other trousers, such as fashion or bootleg, are acceptable.

Pupils are not allowed to wear plimsolls, trainers or boots to school but may change into trainers at lunch time.

Outdoor coats should be navy-blue or black and of a sensible school style. A navy blazer is optional. Badges can be obtained from the School Office.

P.E. and Games Kit

All pupils are required to wear the correct kit for P.E. and Games available only from the school, as follows:

Plain navy umbro-style shorts and pale blue t-shirt, white socks and trainers or plimsolls. For winter games, a pair of football boots may also be required. Optional items are a blue games shirt (available from the School Office) and a navy tracksuit for outdoor games.

Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 should preferably wear plimsolls of the slip-on variety. All items of clothing must be clearly named with initials, surname and class.
