Parents Community Working Day

On Saturday, 8th October parents volunteered to come into school to do some community work.  It was really heart-warming to see so many parents who were willing to give up their time on a Saturday to support the school.  Some of the jobs they accomplished included: trimming and cutting back the wisteria at the front of the school, weeding the flower beds, putting together some new picnic tables and benches, cutting back brambles and tidying up the allotment, cleaning the bike sheds, sweeping up the courtyard areas, cleaning out drains and refurbishing the nursery and reception playgrounds.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped and especially to Jane Seaton for organising the day!
