At Wimbledon Chase we foster an inclusive culture from Nursery to Year Six. This inclusive ethos is nurtured in all pupils by staff who are dedicated to developing the learning and wellbeing of all. By promoting this inclusive atmosphere in our school community we endeavour to ensure that all children have a positive and happy time at school.

We strive to ensure that every child has the best possible experiences during their time at Wimbledon Chase,to develop independence and raise their attainment. We aim to consistently identify barriers to learning as early as possible to ensure that each child has the necessary support to make progress.

We provide opportunities for personal, social and academic development through matching and differentiating the curriculum to build on all children’s individual strengths. We adapt the curriculum to suit the child and do not try to adapt the child to suit the curriculum.

We recognise that at certain times children may need emotional and mental health support.  We aim to provide support that not only addresses the immediate difficulty but which encourages long term resilience and gives children skills to tackle future problems and develop successful reciprocal relationships.

We ensure that children and parents feel listened to and connected to the school community and have access and information about services available locally and nationally.

We are proud to prepare all children, whatever their needs and difficulties, with the necessary skills and confidence to meet the challenges of the next phase of their lives with enthusiasm and optimism.
