Some of the work of the Governing Body is delegated to committees. This allows for issues needing greater attention to be addressed in more detail.
The Governing Body of Wimbledon Chase has established the following committees.
Standards, Teaching and Learning Committee - this committee takes a strategic role in ensuring that the school provides high-quality teaching and learning which leads to the highest possible levels of attainment and progress for all pupils.

School Business Committee - this committee has overall responsibility to take a strategic role in the financial management of the school and to provide guidance and assistance to the headteacher and the full Governing Body as well as to ensure that the buildings and premises of the school provide a safe and high-quality learning environment.

Whole School and Community Committee - this committee has responsibility for the oversight of all matters relating to pupil welfare including behaviour and attendance, safeguarding, equalities and equal opportunities as well as engagement with parents and the community.

Pay and Personnel Committee - this committee has responsibility to ensure the school uses performance management and strategies for improving teaching to ensure it has effective and high-quality staff and to ensure the school has all statutory and appropriate policies and procedures in place regarding personnel issues.
